3 Healthy & Yummy Smoothie Recipes
Here are three smoothie recipes that are constantly in my rotation. Some days I’ll crave chocolate and on others, I’ll want something more tropical, so I appreciate a variety of flavors.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
1 cup frozen banana chunks
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
2 tbsp of fiber - Mix it up! I’ll use chia seeds, hemp seeds, oat bran, rolled oats
1 cup milk of choice
* Blend in high powered blender
Golden Goddess Smoothie
1 cup frozen banana chunks
3/4 cup frozen mango chunks
2 tsp dried turmeric
1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
2 tbsp of fiber - Mix it up! I’ll use chia seeds, hemp seeds, oat bran, rolled oats
6 raw macadamia nuts
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup milk of choice
* Blend in high powered blender
Berry Vanilla Smoothie
1 cup frozen banana chunks
handful of fresh or frozen berries - I’ll use blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries
handful of fresh spinach
2 tbsp of fiber - Mix it up! I’ll use chia seeds, hemp seeds, oat bran, rolled oats
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup milk of choice
optional: dash of vanilla extract or a scoop of nut butter
* Blend in high powered blender
