2. MZ Wallace Large Metro Tote or the MZ Wallace Sutton Tote: these everyday tote bags hold up so well over the years. They are easy to wash and they never lose their shape. I have a classic black one and a beachy color block one in Mist/Coastal Blue.

3. Baboon to the Moon Go Bag: a duffle bag with a durable design, water-repellent exterior, and a roomy interior. Baboon to the Moon has multiple sizes and some convert into backpacks too! My husband has both the Small and Large Go Bags and I wind up borrowing them for my own weekend trips all of the time.

4. Dagne Dover Large Backpack: a backpack can be easier to manage than a shoulder bag, especially when you are transiting huge airports and are lugging your stuff around. This neoprene one has several pockets to keep you organized, including a padded compartment for your laptop. It also has a luggage handle sleeve so you can secure it on top of your rolling suitcase.

5. Baggu Fanny Pack: keep all of your valuables close by while traveling through airports or busy city streets. Pro Tip - Most of the time airlines don’t even notice the fanny pack, so they won’t count it towards your luggage allowance. I store my phone, travel documents, hand sanitizer, and mask in there so it’s always within reach.

6. Lilly Pulitzer Getaway Packable Tote: I love bringing a packable tote with me on trips in case I go a litttttle overboard with the souvenirs. In Bali, I bought so many rattan purses that I had to purchase another large bag to bring it all home. Now while packing, I tuck this Lilly tote into the bottom of my suitcase and it does not take up any space.

7. Edmund Hillary Winter Jacket: I discovered this brand in an airport in New Zealand and I have never seen it sold in the States, which makes it even more appealing to me. I recently bought the Berg jacket and it’s the warmest parka that I have ever owned. Maybe I will finally stop complaining about being cold this winter! It FAR surpasses department store brands that I have tried like Cole Haan, French Connection, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, and Sam Edelman.

8. Patagonia Puffer Vest: I love a packable vest for an added layer to provide warmth. This Patagonia vest will last you years.

9. Danner Mountain 600 Hiking Boots: my favorite hiking boots, hands down. They have a legit grip, supportive cushioning, and are fully waterproof. And they do not look dorky like some hiking boots! My husband and a bunch of my friends own a pair now too. #dannergang
