French 75 Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

1.5 oz gin (my favorite is Hendrick’s)
.75 oz simple syrup
.75 oz lemon juice
3 oz champagne
Ice

Directions

Combine gin, simple syrup and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake well. Pour into a champagne flute or martini glass. Top with 3 oz of champagne. Garnish with a lemon rind.
