Crock Pot Pulled Pork Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 large pork shoulder

  • a few cloves of garlic

  • a handful of sage

  • a handful of rosemary

  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Add the ingredients above to a crock pot. Fill it half way with water. Cook for 8 hours on low. Discard the liquid and fat. Shred pork with fork. Add BBQ sauce (recipe below) and enjoy.

Grandma's BBQ Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups ketchup

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1/3 cup white vinegar

  • 2 tsp chili powder

  • 2 tsp ginger powder

  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

  • garlic powder to taste

    * use 1/2 of this BBQ sauce recipe for one pork shoulder

Directions

Mix ingredients together in bowl .. it’s that easy!

This is one of my favorite easy summer dinners. Serve the pulled pork on a fresh brioche bun with some delicious homemade coleslaw and you’re good to go. It’s a true crowd pleaser.
